An unexpected, and beautiful sense of calm, and clarity came over me tonight when I disconnected completely from the Internet. The data on my phone is off, and I don’t know the WiFi password where I’m staying the night.
I have my Spotify sleep playlist download, and one of my Audible books. Listening to my audio book feels like a completely different experience. I am more focused, and deep in my book.
It’s healing to disconnected sometimes. Knowing that app notifications will not come through, and I use this time to do something I enjoy with distractions.
Tonight I will sleep well with my offline, downloaded sleep playlist on Spotify.
