I haven’t done any promotion for my tracks on Pandora Radio in a very long time. These are my starting stats for streams with no advertising or campaigns going at this time. I will be launching a campaign soon to see how I can boost these numbers, and improve algorithmic performance.

I had this idea that I would journal my streaming stats, and also list what I had done promotion-wise during each time period so I can share what is working and what isn’t.

I think the next post I will take 3 different streaming services and post stats side by side and see how they compare in that time frame. Journal entry posts are intended for myself to motivate, and to help learn more about streaming algorithms. If my journal entries help other artists then all the better. I love reading about streaming algorithms and how services like Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, and Apple Music differ, and how to best navigate the DIY musician “map”.

Just going to add weekly Spotify stats as an add on to this post and I will come up with a better format for my journal entries.
