It’s a cold night on Christmas Eve
and all the worlds asleep
I’ve been up since three AM
Staring at the Christmas tree
The lights are bright
My worries are small
and I don’t want to leave
the comfort of my blanket
The blinking lights
My big-wide eyes
and I should be asleep

Santa’s been here
I wonder what he’s left for me
I can’t sleep
I’m counting sheep
There’s no hope for me
