Def Leppard

I grew up listening to Def Leppard so of course they have been a big influence on my songwriting. Here’s a few songs below that I think have a little bit of the Def Leppard influence built in. I think these were written somewhere around the Pyromania day, I remember “Foolin” was one of my favorite songs on the album. “Photograph was another big one for me. I was also listening to a lot of Ratt at the time too. My writing has changed quite a bit since then. The songs I am referring to are below. Have a listen and see if you hear a Def Leppard or Ratt influence.

I have updated and rerecorded these songs on Piano if you would like to hear the updated versions of them. I made a playlist on Spotify called “Rough Drafts and Remakes” so you can hear how the songs have grown and transformed. Though my writing style has changed I’m still a big fan of Def Leppard and have been enjoying Diamond Star Halos.
