I began playing music because of the great feeling of release allowed me when I was younger, but I have found over the years that there is so much for at play for me when it comes to why I have carried the love to writing with me for so many years into adulthood. I love the feeling of connecting to others on many levels and it is so much easier for me to let this part of me speak. Music connects me to nature, people and the wonderful mystery of the unknown in life. Life is magical and my vibrational frequency seems to be in tune with the vibration of sound such as my guitar strings or piano chords that hit just right. Another aspect is seeing others resonate with it and knowing they felt something close to what I felt when I wrote the song / lyrics. When I was younger I was always trying to start some type of “club” with members and fun activities. I had a notebook and I would name the club and write down members name (there weren’t many of my friends interested in my clubs) but I know that I enjoyed the social aspect of doing things with other people and sharing likes and experiences. Writing music gives me that same feeling that putting together a “club” did back when I was a kid. I still love connecting and matching frequencies with others and when you meet someone that is close to your frequency it is a connection that is hard to explain, you just know it’s there. I love this work.
