Free music marketing opportunity for independent music promotion
We’re putting together a special Christmas Advent Calendar project featuring independent bands and artists from around the world, and we want you to be part of it!
This is not just a regular advent calendar. Each day of December will feature a unique QR code that listeners can scan with their phone to instantly play Christmas music while coloring the calendar artwork. The goal is to combine music, art, holiday fun, and discovery into one interactive Christmas experience.
Every selected band or artist will receive one QR code placement on a specific day in December. Since there are 31 days in December, only 31 artists or bands will be selected for each calendar design.
How It Works
- Fans download and print the Christmas coloring calendar for free.
- Each day contains a QR code connected to a featured artist.
- Users scan the QR code to instantly hear Christmas music while they color.
- This helps artists gain new streams, listeners, followers, and exposure during the holiday season.
Important Submission Rules
- Please submit your music using our online submission form.
- Your QR code link must go directly to a music streaming service.
- Accepted platforms may include Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Bandcamp streaming pages, or similar streaming platforms.
- Website links, homepage links, or unrelated URLs will not be considered.
The purpose of the project is to create a simple and fun “scan and listen” experience where people can instantly enjoy holiday music without searching around the internet.
Promotion Requirements
This project is designed to help everyone involved grow together. All participating artists and bands are expected to help promote the calendar throughout the Christmas season.
Artists can support the project by:
- Sharing the calendar link on social media
- Posting about the project on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Bluesky, etc.
- Offering the free downloadable PDF calendar on their website
- Printing physical copies to hand out locally
- Encouraging fans to download, color, and share the calendar
The more everyone promotes the project, the more streams, exposure, and new fans every participating artist can receive.
This is a collaborative holiday music project meant to bring together independent artists, Christmas music fans, coloring enthusiasts, and holiday creativity all in one place.

Your song must be a Christmas song, original or cover of one.
Spotify is the preferred streaming service for submissions to make it easier for the person scanning the QR code to enjoy the music knowing it’s on one platform.
