Create Your Own Christmas Neighborhood: A Color, Cut, and Paste Activity for Kids

There is something extra fun about a Christmas project you can build with your own hands. This printable Christmas neighborhood activity lets kids color, cut, paste, and create their very own festive winter scene.

Start by having a parent or grown-up print the activity pages. Then color all of the Christmas objects on the page. Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to make each piece bright, cozy, and full of holiday personality.

Once everything is colored, ask a parent to help cut out each object. Some pieces may be small, so grown-up help is always a good idea. After the pieces are cut out, arrange them on the included Christmas background scene. You can move the objects around before gluing them down to decide where everything should go.

There is no wrong way to build your neighborhood. That is the best part.

After you finish the included scene, you can keep creating. Try making your own background on a piece of poster board or construction paper. Draw a snowy village, a mountain cabin, a Christmas tree farm, a frozen pond, or a cozy neighborhood street. Then print the objects again, color them in new ways, and build a completely different Christmas scene.

This activity is great for kids who love coloring pages, cut-and-paste crafts, and holiday projects. It gives children a chance to be creative while also practicing coloring, cutting, arranging, and storytelling. Each finished scene becomes its own little Christmas world.

So print the pages, grab your crayons, and start building your own Christmas neighborhood. With your parents permission, scan the QR code on the pages to listen to Christmas music on Spotify!

Merry Christmas, and have fun creating!
