Christmas ornaments you can color. Holiday airplane, helicopter, gingerbread man and more!

This printable holiday coloring sheet features four unique, cut-out Christmas ornament designs set against a festive backdrop of falling snowflakes and stars.

Supplies Needed

  • Cardstock: Heavyweight white cardstock (65 lb to 110 lb) works best to prevent marker bleed-through and keep the ornaments sturdy when hanging.
  • Coloring Medium: Colored pencils, fine-tip markers, gel pens (metallic or glitter pens work great for accents), or crayons.
  • Safety Scissors: Safety scissors
  • Single-Hole Punch: A standard 1/8-inch or 1/4-inch handheld hole punch.
  • Hanger: Baker’s twine, metallic craft thread, festive ribbon, or standard metal wire ornament hooks.
  • Optional Finishers: Mod Podge or clear craft sealer to add shine and durability; glue stick and festive cardstock if backing two cutouts back-to-back.

Step-by-Step Assembly Guide

  1. Print: Output the PDF on standard letter-sized white cardstock at 100% scale (or “Actual Size”) to preserve full resolution.
  2. Color: Color the Christmas ornaments before cutting. The flat sheet provides a stable surface for detailed coloring around intricate patterns and fine line art.
  3. Cut Out: Carefully trim around the thick outer black contours of each ornament shape.
  4. Punch the Hole: Use a single-hole punch at the top of the ornament.
  5. String and Hang: Thread an 8-inch length of twine or ribbon through the punched hole, knot the ends securely, and hang directly on the tree.
